OK so it took me awhile, but I finally updated our Baddadz shop with our new logo on all kinds of great gifts for you or your family and friends. New items include mousepads, new clothing options, etc., basically anything to help spread the Baddadz Propaganda! You can see all of our items by clicking on the link for shops from our main navigation, or by going here.
It was great to be back out and jamming again after a couple of weeks off. We get to do that again this coming weekend, and after that we’re off for two more weeks (sonofa…)! No worries, we do this every year. The time off is good for learning new songs, and more importantly, spending time with loved ones and family.
Many thanks to the amazing staffs of both Froggie’s Cantina in Virginia Beach, and The Eagle’s Nest in Chesapeake – you are wonderful people, we could not possibly ask to be better treated.
This next weekend we’re at The Barrel II in Portsmouth, and then back to Froggie’s on Sunday for a first ever afternoon pig pickin’ gig there from 6 to 9 pm. Saturday we’re at a private party. Hope to see all of your smiling faces then!
What a day! Once a year, Lee and Cathy Boyd host Rockin’ on the River. It’s like a P-town version of Woodstock. P-stock! This is hands down one of the most fun events of the year, with musician’s and their families from all over Hampton Roads in attendance.
The Baddadz are returning to The Eagle’s Nest, Sunday August 24th and Sunday September 21st, from 3 to 7 pm. We had a blast the last time that we played at this great venue, and saw a lot of our Chesapeake (and more than a few Portsmouth) friends there. This is the same as the last time, with us on the patio and a grill cooking up burgers, brats, hot dogs and BBQ. We’re looking forward to this, hope to see you there!
What a great time we had last night, our last visit with Mario’s until November. Not only a great crowd of friends, but also an amazing amount of talented musicians came out, Michael Justice, Vaughn Deal, Win Winslow, Barry Scott, Van the Man on harmonica…we were thrilled to see all of you, and thanks for sitting in. I wish we had gotten Barry Scott up for a tune! Thanks again to the wonderful staff that takes such good care of us, we’ll see you all soon.
